It's been quite awhile since I posted last! BUT FOR GOOD REASON, I promise!
Daniel came home two weeks ago so I have been trying to spend as much time with him as I can because I missed him so freaking much. Outside of that it's just been crazy.
We found out we'd still be in Utah late enough to celebrate Gracie's birthday. Originally we thought we'd be leaving for Georgia on the 12th, now we are leaving TOMORROW! So, tonight we are celebrating our baby girl turning 2 with all of her family surrounding her.
This birthday isn't going to be like her 1st. Partly because we didn't have the time to plan one like that, and because Daniel has planned this party. His "theme"? There isn't one. He just wanted friends, family and cake. So that's what we are having, only I convinced him to do cupcakes instead. Those cupcakes are being made by the magnificent Jana from Life Could Be A Dream. Not surprising at all because she made the cupcakes for our wedding and the cupcakes for Gracie's birthday last year. So I know they are gonna be super yummy. How great it is that I have such talented friends? ;)
I can't believe my baby girl is going to be two. But more on that soul crushing reality later.
We also BOUGHT A HOUSE! I can't believe it. I am in complete shock. It still doesn't feel real to me at all. We are home owners, and parents of a two year old. WHEN DID WE BECOME ADULTS?! WHEN I ASK YOU!?!? That has been a BIG stress ball for me, let me tell ya. More on THAT later.
Today will be spent packing up our tiny car with everything we can possibly shove in it, and getting ready because we head to Georgia tomorrow morning and I don't think I could be more excited if I tried. I am just...giddy. I can't WAIT to be in OUR own house. Where it's OUR rules and I can walk around naked if I wanted to. Not that I am not INSANELY grateful to have been able to stay with my in-laws the last few months, but I am ready to get back to our normal routine and get back to living our life as our own little family IN OUR NEW HOUSE.
So, you may not hear from me for awhile after this. I have to get to Georgia, then we have to get internet set up. Though first, I gotta figure out how I turn the water & electricity on. Well, I can't think about that now, I will think about that tomorrow.
Because today, WE PARTY!
